1970 911T with full body restoration

Post by Phil Raby »

I'll be honest, we've had this in stock a while and I thought it would have sold by now, so let's see if I can reach an appreciative market here. :)

It's not 100% original in terms of trim etc but the good news is that the body has been subjected to a full and thorough restoration, with invoices and photos to back it up. There are bills for over £60,000. OK, the current 2.4 engine is 'wrong' but the original matching-number 2.2 is included in the sale and could be re-enstated at a later date.

A customer recently commissioned Peter Morgan to inspect the car. I wasn't privy to the report but was told it was very positive. A copy of the report can be purchased from Peter. That customer decided not to proceed with the sale for other reasons.

It's a lovely car that attracts attention wherever it goes. Our workshop manager ran out of petrol in it and someone came straight out with a can from his lawnmower. You wouldn't get that with a modern 911! :)

If you're interested in seeing the car, please drop me a line at mail@philipraby.co.uk or call 0845 450 6964.

Cheers
