VIN 9113112219, engine CIS 6135689, not confirmed by Porsche but would suggest numbers matching, paint code ( 439-9-3) special order colour unknown. It looks like a brownish bronze, like copper metallic, pretty cool seventies colour.
The engine appears to be original specification, speedo shows 77k, which is 177k according to documents. It was originally sold in CA, but the guy I purchased from has owned it since 2002 or so, and it has been sitting in a garage, never started or run. It ran when he first acquired it in a trade deal. The engine turns over relatively easy. At this time, it is sold as a non-runner, by mutual agreement on the price, we can put the car through our workshop and get it running.
The body is in good condition, with little visible rust, it has been repainted poorly with black paint over the original brownish color done years ago. The driver headlight bucket needs replacing in the original fender, which seems ok otherwise. The passenger fender has been replaced (no undercoating), but appears in good condition. The front slam panel/boot floor shows some small gaps on both sides at the base of the battery boxes (never seen this), but otherwise, the front panel on top and bottom appears solid. The front bumper is in poor condition and not usable, as are the bumper trims both front and rear....too much sun/heat probably.
The doors fit nicely, and appear original (small dent in driver door), all bright work is excellent, wheels are original, no spare , no jack or tools. The targa top needs to be totally reconditioned, but the hardware/mechanism is good and fits ok. The dash has a cover cap, and the radio is aftermarket, knee guards are good, instruments appear decent. The hood is in primer on top, but black underneath, not sure why it's in primer, maybe a localised repair. There are small dents in the screen cowl where the bonnet was raised with improper shims and placement on the hinges. Both cowl sides have small dents, but the bonnet seems fine...don't know what is beneath the primer though !

The interior needs a total restoration, driver seat is sagging and unusable as is, passenger is not bad, but needs to be restored. New carpets, and rear deck mat needed. Rear parcel shelf (metal part) appears in good shape, and gives a clear indication of the original colour. Door internal trim panels need work, and the bottom pockets are missing.
Engine bay shows the brown paint under black, which is original factory look. The fuse panel needs to be reconditioned, but the engine has supposedly been rebuilt, but no records. It looks fairly clean on top, but lots of oil coating on the heat exchangers. I would say it has been rebuilt somewhere along the line...doesn't look like 177k miles with no work.
The floors are decent and rust free. It has the usual dents where a mechanic used the wrong jacking points, plus in the rear central area there is a compression dent that will remove, its like a steel wheel was placed underneath and then jacked up on it (maybe when engine out..?) but overall the condition is better than most rusty European cars that are available
