912 '67 Spring Project

Post by jacko-67 »

Finally decided to get my daily driver 912 stripped & repainted for the summer. Needs rear window repairs to make it water tight for next winter but decided a good time for a colour change.

Whoa, hold back a bit - at this rate you'll be finished by your 3rd post  Your car looks great and love the colour as it is 8)

Good luck with the project.

Front windscreen corner repaired

no rot on nearside wing

Front scuttle repair needed however the white scuttle that was going to be used seems to have a different design airbox. The original is elongated with a bulge at the top. The white one underneath is just oblong. Any ideas what year this changed?

keep it the original colour; looks 8)
great work, can i ask why the two wings are different colour? did you strip the e-coat off or was it bare metal when you got it?

Yes the wings came like that... but the one without the coating is a better fit so assume there are a couple of suppliers for these Porsche wings?

Still un-decided on the colour... :) Love SB but also like the lines when they are black....
