Old member returning.....

Post by Neill W »

I can think of some forums where that headline might mean something else...

Was a member here back in 2006, but sold my Porsche, let it lapse. These days, busy once more, looking to own a 911 once again at some point. Still feel physical pain at selling my old Turbo, hence the posting elsewhere thinking about locating it.

If you read Total 911, you might have seen my photography / writing. Also shoot photography of buildings / interiors / aerial photography. Happy to be a member once more, but won't rest until I own a 911 again......

Plan to be more active around here than previously.

I can just hear the photographer now; "OK, dear, could you just lean over and kiss Stirling's helmet?"...

I was that photographer....

Shot at Donnington Park on a press day for an event called GP Live, that never happened. Stirling was in Nick Mason's Maserati 250F. Still a bit of a boy with the ladies, the model was great fun too.

By the way, KS. It's your fault I'm into Porsche in the first place.

Do you recall many moons ago, you did a feature in Cars & Car Conversions on a silver 934, in the pouring rain? It had a big effect on me, at college at the time. Wanted one ever since.

Enough of the helmet jokes :P

That shot sold several times when Stirling jumped down his lift shaft a few years ago. Papers and Sunday supplements ran it to wish him well.

Thanks, James.

Looks like you're not that far away, should meet up for a brew some time.
