Afternoon All -
This previously DDK-owned RSR-rep is now being offered for sale by Historika.
I contacted the dealer as I had previously expressed an interest in the car when it was with Tony Outtridge. He's local to me. However, we couldn't do a deal and he moved the car on to Historika.
When I questioned the dealer (via email) as to whether or not it was the same car - he became a bit ..."odd" with me and asked why I wanted to know.....I explained that I knew the car and was interested in it but needed to know the target price and what work was being done etc. I have not had a response to these questions from Historika.
The thing about this car is that it is a Cat C. Surely this is not something that can be hid or not disclosed....?? The guy's response to a couple of reasonable questions seemed a bit odd. I do realise that Historika have been around for some time and don't want to slate them - but I think people should be aware that the car is not exactly as it appears on their website.
regards
Sean

They may not be as aware of the write-off status as you, so it's worth letting them know if you haven't already.
I'd suggest giving them a ring to discuss it. Car dealers are invariably rubbish at emails, I'm sure a phone call will show them you have genuine interest in the car and get your questions answered.

Evening All -
Just an update and to be fair to the guys at Historika - they did eventually come back to me with a little bit more detail about the work they are doing on the car. He also advised that it will cost "considerably more than what they paid for it" by the time they've finished their planned upgrades. Seems fair enough.
Should be a great car when finished - but still a Cat C.
