Hello, Cornpanzer signing in...

Post by Cornpanzer »

Hi guys,

have lurked here occasionally for the past few years, but never posted.

As an introduction:
I live in Ohio, which is the east/Central part of the US. I have been a regular contributor and photographer for the UK VW magazine "Ultra VW" since the beginning back in 2003. I also write for Excellence Magazine here in the US. Besides the occasional car feature, I have a monthly interview column near the front of the magazine.

I grew up a major VW nut and own a 300hp Cal-Look Beetle, but for the last several years my interests have been more centered towards Porsche's. I drive a black '70"S" called Olivia which I have owned since 2002. being an RGruppe car, it has seen many sport-purpose modifications and highway miles since then. The latest project was to install a 2.8 L short-stroke twin plug motor.

Thanks!
David Conklin

Hi David

Lovely looking car, black is a perfect colour for the early ones, contrasts so well with the polished silver parts, but I guess I'm a bit biased...
