Did some minor jobs this weekend , fitted my brand new drumskins which look much better as the original vw beetle drums. I also prepared some new gauges and a porsche style speedometer. ( home made )

A single port 1500 cc beetle engine , 44 hp but just as much torque as a 1600
dual port engine. The gearbox is a standard one with a "long end gear" as we call this in NL. In combination with the weight of 550 kg the engine is strong enough to accelerate quickly but flexible enough to have a lazy cruise.. 8) And that's where i use this Spyder for most of the time.
