Nothing to do with me but latest offering from David Mohlman

About which he says.....

"This late production 1975 Porsche RSR 3.0L has been fully restored by Jim Torres at Burbank Coachwerks. A full rotisserie bare tub restoration was performed utilizing no clips or re shells. All components are correct and done to show standards. The car has recently received a full service so the car is ready for competition as well as show.

The motor is complete 100% RSR components built on a Turbo case ( a original RSR case accompanies sale of car). The brakes and suspension have been completely serviced.

This car was also shown and a Class Winner Concours at Rennsport in Lime Rock, Ct. Additional events include Louis Vuitton At Rockefeller Center Concours and Legends of Daytona. Collector owned until my purchase and ready for inspection.

Daytona 24 hr and Sebring 12 hr History.

Takes one back to Malton and the rhd 3 0 rs and where do u pitch it ?

i believe if u did nt register this rsr for the road u save some or maybe asa racecar u can do a deal for 5%..............know it all changed few years back.......but dont know what too!

When rsr were being given away for £60k .not able to use for much , ore ckassic lemans changing eligibilty etc rs s were abt £100k.........certainly asking price for car in this condition in Europe IRO £500K ..........ALL TOO COMPLEX FOR ME , LUCKY CANT AFFORD ANY OF THEM ANY MORE ,
lucky i had my fun when i did!

The white car still looks bloody lovely , though 2.8 rsr still my favourite

Err.... not suggesting it's overpriced in any way, just way out of my reach, sadly!

Given it's history and rarity I imagine you'd get the reduced VAT rate of 5% on import, but I may be well out of date on this.

Does look lovely and DM always has some pretty special cars pass through his hands.
