i'll have a look under the dash of mine, but i don't recollect all that exposed painted metal.

it's one of the export 56 resto's that was being lent to the porsche experience centre at silverstone - believe they wanted 200 quid for it - i heard it had sold a few weeks ago, but sounds like the sale fell thru.

I've seen this in the flesh recently...

I will stand back and let Nick & Vic share their own thoughts on this car

Hi,

All cars have that; it is the metal recces for the steering column. This should be black (satin) as the dash should be, but being yellow it really stands out.
I have not seen the car in person enough to comment on the car. We have 2 73 RSs (1 RHD and 1 LHD) here at the moment in case a comparison pics helps?

Thanks

Alan

But the way that export 56 bang on about how correct their cars are in all the articles you read ... and the prices that they supposedly charge that follow on from that .... makes one wonder looking at that
