wow, harsh crowd. I suspect its my untrained eye, but it doesnt look all that bad to me.

'In short the car is an affordable running, driving entry into the swb 911 S world that can be enjoyed as is, or restored to the next level.'

seems like a pretty fair advert to me and seems to be priced pretty competitively... or do you guys think it should be cheaper?

Interesting comments as to the untrained eye (i.e. me) the car seems honestly described and at £20K appears good value ?

Magnus Walker the seller - if he is the same Magnus on the Early S Registry, then he just sold a lovely looking 1968 car in white.

I accept a good origianl car will be triple this price, but if it is 'rolling' restoration, is £20K not a good price, albeit £26K shipped and VAT in the UK.

Just my 0.02c

As a fun driver it may well be a nice car to have and to enjoy the experience of swb motoring. Magnus did a great job on the white car but I don't know if he has restored this car.

It is going to be a VERY expensive job to get it to be close to a 67S, ask Jason!

Notwithstanding the fact that it does not have the original engine, the most expensive job will be to get rid of the lwb panels, the B posts, the front wings, the bonnet and probably more that can't be seen in the pics.
The other expensive bits are going to be the headlight units, rocker trims, wheels, seats, steering wheel, tank, door cards, carpets etc. Then there is the mechanicals

I don't know if you would call that a rolling restoration but I can see tens of thousands to get it to true 67S spec. Not to mention that some of these parts are virtually impossible to get.

Best to drive it as it is and enjoy and forget the resto. I don't think you would ever get your money back.

Regards
Mike
