15" Steering wheel suitable for IVA

Hi
I need a wheel suitable for IVA the same size (15") as the moto-lita or banjo I will end up with - otherwise the switches will be too far in behind the steering wheel after I swap it for a decent one - because of the exempt zone.

Any ideas guys? I've spent 2 hrs looking and come up with nothing. I'm really stuck.

It needs to be padded or the rim set out from the center pad - well thats what I understand from the manual!

Late beetle wheel works, correct size, big crashpad in the middle..

Ger is right use the beetle steering wheel same as pictured. Took mine through the IVA a few months ago so if you want to pick my brains go ahead. Make sure you use the later type as it is padded and the early type are solid. You need 2 crumple zones in the steering system. Don't panic you should have one which is the collapsable section at the steering shaft base, the other you will have is the beetle steering wheel pictured as it has a collapsable section behind the horn pad. You can pick these up from eBay £25-30 or volkszone.com.

well the steering wheel above arrived today in the post but the pad is hard. IVA rules imply that as long as the center is set back, the pad doesnt need to be padded.
"The rim of the wheel should be padded or at least made from a material which when deformed does not splinter or fragment. The centre boss should be padded or recessed below the level of the rim. Wheels with a very deep dish are stiffer than flatter wheels and, as such will absorb less energy."
