Cocomats offer!
Jeff, the owner of cocomats.com, has asked me if I can do him pictures for some ads he wants to run in UK magazines.
I need cars to shoot them in. If anyone is willing to 1. travel to Camberley, Surrey some weekend and 2. give me 45 minutes of their time, they can have a set of mats for cheap.
They retail at $240 (£160) with shipping from the US. If you can help me out you can have them for £100. You'd can choose the colours for your car: http://www.cocomats.com/style.htm
I'm a big fan of Jeff's work - the mats are gorgeous and really make an interior. I had a set in my 911, and he recently made me a one-off front mat for my little Renault which is a work of art.
The cars I'm looking for are as follows:
RHD early 911
LHD IB
RHD 997
RHD Merc of any description, perhaps something classic and something modern (TBC)
RHD BMW of any description, again something classic and something modern (TBC)
If you're interested, drop me a PM.

i can't help i'm afraid but just like to say these mats are fantastic heavy duty quality. i had some Black with tangerine made for my 911S

and some Black with white for my 356a

to say i am pleased with these mats is an understatment. i'm delighted with them.
wonder what they would look like in a Panamera

Hi Jamie,
I was only looking at the Cocomat website last week as both the 911 and the W124 are in desperate need of overmats.
They're both RHD with the 911 having a brown interior and the Merc with grey.
If either are of any use I'll be glad to drive them over on a weekend convenient to you.
All the best,

Hi Jason. Yeah - I did buy a plane. It's a taildragger and I'm not rated to fly it yet
I'm supposed to be doings some training on a Citabria tomorrow if the weather clears up (looking very unlikely).
OK - I think we're on. Steve, let me know what colours you want. Jeff says anything except tan, as we already have shots of the tan mats that were in my car. He thinks a sisal might look good in the Merc, although it's up to you.
Jason again - black and orange should be fine. I'll pass this info on to Jeff.
Philip - which grey are you after?
Phew!

Hi Jamie, good to hear back from you.jamie wrote: OK - I think we're on. Steve, let me know what colours you want. Jeff says anything except tan, as we already have shots of the tan mats that were in my car. He thinks a sisal might look good in the Merc, although it's up to you.
I am very happy to go with Jeff's suggestion of sisal in the Merc (grey, colour code #43)
In the 911 I would also like sisal in either Earth (code #45) or Brown (code #46). Maybe Jeff can decide from the photos below what would suit best?

What a great opportunity to finally get some decent mats - thanks Jamie & Jeff!!!

If only it smelt as good as it looks... reminds me of my grandfather's basement (and I was always a little scared venturing down there

I wouldn't worry about that, as when you have fitted some coco mats, the interior will smell of baby oil! (it's true!)left4dead wrote:Thanks Rich!abzadams wrote: Steve,
