I'm no 356 expert but to me it looks worth a watchin'.

If you want a 356 and it doesn't have to be totally pukka, this looks like a good option, if it doesn't need too much welding.

Get it and buy Damon's 356 engine that's up for sale and you could have a nice little non FIA car for some motorsport or just fun.

However I suppose the devil is in the detail, what's needed apart from the labour to get this a running item?

it's lovely what ever it is. i curtainly wouldn't turn my nose up at it. but can it really be called a real 356 when it's basically sitting on a Beetle or am i reading(which i proberly am) the ebay listing wrong.

as i said before for the money it's going to be one hell of a car. if i had the money in the bank at the moment i could be very tempted myself. it's no secret that i've been wanting to do an outlaw project for quite a while but, i fear thats going to have to be put on hold for at least another year. :cry:

hi helen, thanks for your nice coments on my car. but at the end of the day its a steel 356a at a fraction of the cost of a factory car,and if the car drove past you on the road you would never now. cheers steve
