glove box key

Post by Ren »

Hi all, anyone got a spare glove box key for a B t-5? Anyone know if it is true that they only had three key patterns for the glove box? If so then any glove box key could be worth a try.

You are correct in thinking glove box keys are interchangeable. The "Huf" ones I have for my 59 "A" also fitted other 356's. I think the number is C27. Your early B glove box could also be the same.

I know Stoddard sell a lock and 2 keys for 356 glove box's.

I also think I have spare key you can try. If I can locate it, I will forward it to you. I will let you know if I can find it.

Hi Roy, another big thank you. Key arrived today and it is now with my local lock smith who is making my lock work with its new key. Lovely.

Hope it works Dave when he's finished. Was hoping it would without any work.

Cheers

Works bang on Roy. Only £6 to make my lock work with its new key. Im very happy. Now if I could get the passenger side lock to work with my drivers key..... hmmm I think its a different later type lock. Bloody car - every bit has been bodged by some cow boy restoration monkey.

So on the scrounge again.... anyone got a spare door lock for a k100 type key for an early B t-5?
