1972 911E Value / Estimated sale price help required

Post by mallen282 »

Hi,

I have an virtually original 1972 911E - AFN (Chiswick? - London) Supplied RHD with 85,000 miles and in an off white colour. It is a non sunroof model and has the Recaro sports seats and an "S" front spolier (original factory supplied / spec'd) and has been well received at PCGB Concours events over the last 5 / 6 years or so...obtaining at least a few trophies across the range....
The car was owned for the majority of its life by a known "semi pro / racing enthusiast" who raced Jags and lotus's in the late 50's & 60's and hence the car was extremely well cared for e.g. Wax oiled from new, professionally decomissioned and recommissioned when laid up etc. etc.. There's plenty of Paperwork/ bills and ALL the Factory service files / factory service manual addendums (approx. 14 volumes / files) come with the car...!!!

IF, I were to sell? Does anybody have an idea as to the likely "ball park" figure I could realistically ask for and does the previous owner / history ADD any provenance and value to the vehicle??? The general condition of the car is EXCELLENT however there are the odd one or two surface bubble spots on the paintwork.

Any input / advice / help would be most appreciated...??

Rgds,

Mark.

Can you expand on where these might be and how extensive. These will have a major effect on the value
