Over Tyred? How wide are yours?

Ok, this maybe a topic that has been talked about before, but i couldn't find the answer so thought I would draw on the experience of you all.

I was running a set of 5.5j and 205. 15inch tyres on my car, but I am working to get my replica as realistic as possible which includes the stance and hence narrower wheels and tyres.

So, question is, can anyone recommend a size (radial - not cross) which will give the speedster a more of an original stance. Is anyone trying narrower tyres and what are they like to drive on?

hi. mine runs on 175 70 15 4 .5j and 15 psi front 18 psi rear .this is the best set up to date last 6 years. ( i have spun it twice in the wet !!!! ) keefy .

I'm running 165R15 (so 80 profile) continental Ct22 tyres which have a traditional tread pattern on my current sprintstar alloys (I believe these are standard fit on Morgans).

Haven't really noticed any loss of grip compared with the "sticky" 195/60R15 rubber I have on my alternate set of steel wheels.
