Certainly not in the school that person went to! I'm wondering if it's a scam ad.
My 15 year old has loads of stories of her English teacher's shocking grasp of the English language!

I sincerely hope that Tom Thomas isn't a fellow Derbyshire man.
Nick, are you assuming this fellow is a product of the current educational system?
For what its worth, I'm sure there will be some that disagree, but I think the current standards of education are much higher than they were 30 or 40 years ago.

I had the biggest laugh in ages reading that ad. Do you think there is any significance that all the photos are taken in a cemetery?
Would there be any danger if I turned up to buy the car with a wad of cash?
Regards
Mike

I actually had another read and it's quite interesting. It's jam packed full of stuff, I'm actually getting into it. I think I quite like the style. It's like a load of thoughts wirling round anf then piling out. It's growing on me.

advert looks fine to me. but, then i left school at 15 without the ability to read or write more than my name & address. it should be pointed out i'm (much) the same age as you Mr Moss.
