Question re temp gauge

Hi folks

Can anyone advise how I can hook up the temp gauge thats in the repro instrument set in my 356 rep.

The gauge sits in the right hand unit with the fuel gauge (which works via the standard vw tank sender).

If I use a VDO oil temperature sender and connect up to this gauge will it work?

Much obliged for any advice.

Mine is connected to an oil temp sender that is part of the oil pressure switch. ( the sender screws into the block, and then the pressure switch screws into the sender) Works fine.

I got mine from Pilgrim, although im not sure if they are still doing Speedster stuff anymore.
