Starting company for wireharnesses, looking for 356 harness

Hello all DDK members , what initially started as hobby project is now turning in to something serious, i'm about to start with a company for wiring harnesses specialized in classic Porsches. As a 912 owner, and member of the Dutch 912 register i made several complete 912 harnesses, but now i like to be able delivering complete 356 harnesses as well. To make a start with this i'm looking for a 356 owner who's about to change his complete wireharness. As this would be the first 356 harness for me, i'm willing to do this for free (only materials to be paid) As an example for new harnesses i would like to keep your original harness, no matter in what state it is. Id love to help if I can.
I have a b Coupe in Fareham, Portsmouth.
I have a loom in the car, but it was cut about to fit different gauges.
I have a 2nd hand loom to replace it which looks in very good condition considering its age and softens up nicely when left in the sun.
The car is pretty much finished although has never been run.
Electrics are definitely my achillies heel so if this interests you do drop me a line. You would of course be welcome to keep back what you need for more loom references etc.

There is more than one Wiring Harness - you will need to carry out a little research

How about an early 911 harness? Again there are different types and also RHD/LHD but I have both out of cars.

I had mine done in Australia

As with many of these things the wires arnt always the difficult part... its often the connectors ...
All my original connectors and terminators came off the old loom and went back on the new loom when made



Also ...if hoping to capture the Concours market and getting really anal, it pays to document other details before the loom comes out of the car or from known original cars , which just get forgotten when assembling or putting it back in.

Example here from a 59 open car ...Note the loops on the loom ends which were "as it was done in the factory " and were likely because there is a little play needed when installing the cable harness back in and its better to have a couple inches too long than too short on any/all of the endpoints (Ask me how I worked that one out )
