356 body part diagrams

Post by 58herbie »

can anybody help please. have recently bought my first project 356 but having never restored a 356 before i am not sure exactly which parts go where and what i will be needing to buy. so what i am looking for is a exploded view/ breakdown of porsche body parts and repair panels so i can work out what goes where.
I have seen the ones on various web sites selling panels but they dont show me everything i think ineed to know.

does anybody have a exploded view of a 356 body please.

thanks

Jon

HI there
Stoddard in the USA have a web site that has exploded drawings on.
Also, 'DerWhite' on here sells a nice folder with them all in, its worth buying !!
Mind you, the ones 'out there' are all thats really available.
Contact me if you have any 356b coupe parts !!!!

Your also best trying to find out if there is a 356 owner near to you so you can have a proper look at a built car.

I have a parts book in .pdf form if that helps. Also there are body diagrams in the workshop manual which I also have in electronic form if your car is an A.
