Car was imported from Texas 4 years ago so is rust free.

it is amazing that not a single car from that state has ever had any rust whatsoever?

or have i misread it...is it the magical 4 years ago that it was imported that means its automatically rust free?

Still being sold by the same chap, despite it showing as being sold here. Maybe the ad is out of date?

Have you ever been to Texas ...lotsa potential for rust I would say.
Same for California once you get close to San Fran (which is where most of the cars are)

I reckon Arizona is probably the only true dry state

I was being sarcastic over the line in the ad....

With regards to Arizone and no rust: have you priced up a set of door seals and a cracked up dashboard to replace, as well as every rubber bit that is dried out?

I'd almost rather have a slightly rusty car!

Obviously, it is all (bad) sales language as one would expect a potential buyer to judge cars on individual condition rather than sales patter, irrespective from the area.

Best regards,

Bert

The ad's out of date - car is sold and buyer is in Australia (reason he was selling).

I know who bought the car -to finally mark the case closed
