Firstly the reason for sale is as follows. After finally finding a car and purchasing it, one week later I got offered a job in Australia.
The car now has 12 months MOT and registration docs should be with me next week so this car is now road worthy.
I bought the car with tired paintwork but it was totally solid with the exception of the front box section. It appears that all the panels are original.
I purchased a new box section and tank support and have had this work undertaken by a local classic car retsore who I have used for the last 5 years on my VW's.
Underneath the car is totally solid and again no rust.
The car has been repainted its original tangerine colour and is fitted with original unmarked polished deep 15” fuchs. It is also fitted with brand new 205 tyres all round.
As far as I am aware the engine and chassis numbers match.
Engine wise the previous owner had only occasionally started it in 4 years, the carbs will need cleaning and then a general tune up.
The previous owner purchased a new interior carpet set. It is fitted with original leather seats. I also have a set of 70’s original bucket seats that will go with the sale but they will need retrimming
I haven’t fitted the front chrome front over riders as I think it looks better without them but then realised they have the bracket to fit the bumper to the bodywork, hence the reason for the bumper not fitting quite straight.
Will need a new headliner to complete the interior.
I have about 50 or so pictures of the car showing all the usual rust areas but showing no rust. If anyone is seriously interested pm me your email address and I will send pictures of whatever areas you want.

As this car now has an MOT I think this car is great value and hope that someone on here will take it on rather than selling it on ebay.
