How long have you owned your car?

I was looking at my calender last night and realised that on Monday I'd owned my car for 11 years. I was wondering who has owned their car for the longest length of time.

24 years and counting for the 911 hillclimb car, and nearly 2 years for the 914/6.
The frightening one is that I bought my first complete Porsche, a 914, 32 years ago.................

Before that I'd had a couple of 356 engines in my rallying beetle

Too late to grow up now!

I collected Jazi on my 30th birthday, so that is a bit over 4 years ago.

I hope there are a few more birthdays to celebrate together with the car!

longest i have ever owned a car is just under 4 years.which was a 2.7 Boxster.

the shortest is about 5 weeks which was 1970 911T Targa

Bought my 356A and drove it home from Rottingdean ( near Brighton ) to Worthing where I then lived in April 1969 ( so 40 years in my ownership ) Still running the car and enjoying it.

Even more frightening than for JW I bought my first Porsche a 2 litre 1969 S in 1974 (sadly long gone) and have had my RS since 1978 and before anyone who knows me says anything it hasn't run since 1979 !!!!!!!

The 914 is just 1 year 9 months but my Beetle I have owned for 26 years.
It's the red one on the left, at Lavenham last year.

Bought my first one 9 years ago at the tender age of 27.
Longest one I currently own is 6 years.
