Archiving PM's

Post by mrg3.6 »

My inbox is full of PM's most of which I would like to keep - is there any way of archiving them before I empty the box.

Thx

No, sorry, if we did the database would just grow and grow so hence the limit on numbers.

I should have said - archiving them on my own hard-drive?

Thx

Bootsy,

Sorry to be a pain mate - I'm more familiar with concrete than computers.

So is there any way you could 'batch' email (me) all my PM's so I could simply archive them on my own hard-drive and thereby clear out my DDK inbox/outbox?

As a speculative suggestion, an 'archive to c-drive' button would be of great benefit and would allow people to regularly clear out their PM's

If above is not possible then I guess I will need to 'individually' cut and paste every pm to say Word before deleting them?

Appreciate your guidance on this one and certainly won't be offended by a simple 'No' :)

Thx

Martin

There is a fantastic system called "email" which does almost exactly what you are asking for :P

Nick,

Raising a prompt email response from Early911 is like trying to evoke a response from Beelzebub himself , LOL, otherwise, I guess most people don't want to expose their email address on public forums hence the use of PM's :?:

PS - Looking forward to seeing those frosted Fuchs :)
