steering wheel restoration

hi does anyone know if it is possible to restore a b/c steering wheel. as in re chrome the centre section without removing the black plastic grip part. Or is a wheel with shite chrome just scrap.

Not sure, had the one for the A done by KK a few years ago, cost a fortune and now looks the same as it did. Might be worth giving them a call even if its just to ask if it can be done?
