I have decided to sell my 911T

Post by TheBaron »

Hi All

Please see edited post below, I am now definetely selling my 911T Targa

It has cost be around £30k so far, see below for details.

I will let her go for around £22500.

Tel 07525 866909

It will have 1yrs MOT before sold

As you might be aware i have recently bought a 356 vintage racer and to help fund this huge project i am thinking of selling my beloved 1973 911T targa.

It has lots of history, it was stored in the states for 17yrs before it was shipped to the UK about 8yrs ago, it is also believed to be the original paint with a beautiful patina, original floors panels etc. The interior was very poor when i bought it so i have had the car re done in wine leather piped black, with black carpet piped in wine, it is at presnt SORN and lives in an air conditioned bubble.

It is showing 48,000 miles which might be genuine

I have had all new rubber seals, it has a stainless steal exhaust and heat exchangers.

I put a moto lita wood steering wheel on which is not to everyones taste, but i still have the original which will be sold with the car

I used it once last year to do a round trip to Monte Carlo for the Classic Grand Prix, it didnt miss a beat.

Before i went it was given to Autofarm to do everything that needed to be done mechanically, i had a bill of over £3000. So it is is a very sound up together car.

The bad: You have to look hard for faults but there is a few rust bubbles at the top of both doors, and front of bonnet, it also has a slight bump in the bonnet where the previous owner put his drum kit(He was the drummer for Natasha Beddingfield) so i left it, similar to the ripped headlining of Rod Stewarts Lambo, which was the heel mark from one of his girlfriends.

It would only cost a few hundred pounds to put right, but as i think all is original i am reluctant to touch it, as it is only cosmetic.

I paid £20k 2yrs ago and have spent around £10k to get it were it is today.

So make me an offer, come and have a look or i could send you some more pics.

Regards

Stephen

Thanks fo rthe comments,

Some pics of the interior:

I am afraid these pics dont do it justice, the leather is not that red, it is a much darker wine red, these were taken on a dull day with a flash.
