Trip to Germany

Post by Tay »

I met Steve Screaton (good bloke) at Stanford Hall VW show on sunday who told me about DDK, and as I am taking my 914 to Germany on the 10th May for a weeks holiday I wondered if anyone knows of any 914 specialists that I can call on over there. I intend to visit Mittelmotor, and am particularly looking for a pair of Rocker Panels (sill covers). Any other trip advice or vaguely 914 related places of interest to visit would be much appreciated.
Thanks and regards

Mittlemotor is hard to find.. So all I can say to help you there is that is it behind some shops on the main road. There is a drive way on the left of the shop/house and you go down that and it's there on your right..

they have a nice lounge area for you to be seated, so you can buy lots of stuff.. Even have Coffee and free internet as well.. Nice guys.

There are other places but I can't remember them as I was with my mate who lived in Essen. So he knew all the back roads!!

Hi Tay,

Good to chat on Sunday at SH, we had a lot of interest in the cars this year and it did'nt rain, well a bit!! The only other place I can think of is Friesinger, probably spelt that wrong, not even sure if they are still into fourteens. Have a look on the German 914 club site at www.914-club.de. They may know of some more.
