Classic Le Mans - Thu night accomodation and dress code

Post by ashrolfe »

Hullo, hullo.

We're bucking the trend slightly and getting the Euro tunnel to arrive in France early Thursday afternoon. Can we get into the Le Mans camp sight on Thursday, or do we have to find a hotel for Thursday night?

Also, I'm a bit dubious about this fancy-pants dress code mentioned on offical web site.. Does anyone dress up at all? Tie for the paddock even?

We'll all be turning up on Thursday afternoon at the campsites too as most are getting ferrys on Wednesday. Previous years its always been fine , infact teh campsites were always busy anyway by Thursday afternoon.

Again, previous years the paddock dress code hasn't really been enforced. I've always worn a short sleeved shirt & long trousers ... probo best not to wear Union Jack shorts & a vest
