gear shif rod bush wanted plus advice

has any one have the bush that goes on the shift rod below the gear stick , it keeps the rod from slapping around , mine fell apart on my first drive , and how does it go on to the shift rod , thanks all advice welcome owen nw :cry:

Just pops on and you can get them anywhere. check all the bushes while you are at it. the rear universal one causes most problems.

when I investigated the 'sloppyness' on my 356 it had no bushes at all just metal to metal.

Good luck - relatively easy job if a bit fiddly.

easy job I even made a tool for the job see some of the Porsche workshop manuals.

Also do the one at the rear as it's just as worn.

This if it has not been done before will transform the gear change use good graphite grease to lube it all up and you should get a nice job out of it all..
