Tail-shifter end-cone casting, PLEASE.

Post by swapped »

Hi,

I find myself needing one of these for my 901 tail shift gearbox in my 914.

The picture (modified from one on 914world) shows a side shifter (but shows the correct part of the case casting - the tail cone, complete with the ears that hold the rear mounts), and the red line is where the crack is on mine, which you don't need to know, except to illustrate that I need a new casting.

I'm in Chester.

Thanks.

Did'nt think you would be wearing sandels in Chester this time of year....

Good luck with the search. Ben, negawsklov on here, was breaking a car a while back.

Not my toes (not my gearbox, either), and not taken in Chester - pinched from 914world.

Thanks for the tip.

Carl, you don't need to pretend or apologize to us about being open-toed. I'd be worried if you had socks with sandels.
