1971T Targa -2.7 twin plugged- 20,000Euros *SOLD*
I was going to write 'family forces sale' but that would just sound sad and cliche.
Lots of reasons for selling and of course lots of reasons not to!. I am sure I will be sad to see her go, but I have finally made up my mind and hope someone else will enjoy her as much as I do.
I have listed a lot of details on the general 911 BBS but will run through some more.

I have posted on the well known Pelican parts as 'twinpluggedtarga' if anyone wants to check out any background.
Car is located in S France, 20 minutes drive from Nice airport (easy jet).
Car had over $45,000 USD spent on it in 2000-2 at 90,000 miles by previous owner receipts for $37,000 at Butch Stokes Automotive, Ft Lauderdale, USA. Car has now done 122,000miles.
Original service book and handbook.
Only items known to be faulty are:
Odyssey Battery on its last legs- not available in France- may find an alternative soon
A/C needs a charge- was working prior to engine reseal a few months ago.- will try and recharge soon.
3 small areas of rust - headlamp and door jams?- not sure if correct terminology- visible in pics.
one rear loudspeaker not working.
Front hood shocks need replacing- dont they always!
Front 'trunk' carpet not fixed in position- easily fixed with press studs.
Small cast bracket for parking brake cable broken - brake still works, held rigid via tie wraps.- unable to source as (yet- no porsche breakers yards locally)
Fuel vapour cannister was never installed in front trunk- has never posed a problem as yet.
I will try and post some valid pics after this 1st entry and if serious parties PM me I will try and mail them a CD with full details/pics.
I can take pics of any areas requested given time of course.
Many thanks
Ben

Here are the rust shots plus a few others: rust has not worsened in last 5 years as it has been dry stored and driven on dry days.
small dent in the s/s targa bar-
small ding in the hood- barely visible- fixable
Front polished 'S' caliper, cross drilled rotor boge strut Bilstein insert shock.
Headlamp rust
hood chips- v. small
Left side seat bolster wear- minor
