Tried to add myself and my winter project a few days ago but looks like i failed.
So trying again an hope that is works and werent a forecast as to how my 912 project will turn out ..*LOL*

Name's Peter, age 34 and from Copenhagen Denmark.
Works in the entertainment business and found aircoolers about 1-1½ ago and realized they make great fun and a cool thing to get your thoughts away from work...

So started last summer with a 56Oval bug , found a 54 oval , a 65 bug , a 68 bay bus .... sold most of it as it was projects ....
Then ended up with a 60 with sema's and a cool Beryl Green interior..
It was rust free but totally taken apart...
So of i go - pick up, transport back (This was in January 07) and midsommer saw my cool 60Lowrat on BRMs and painted in red primer. lots of wax and thats it.
Still got it and keeping it ... gonna have it as a running project that just gets cooler and (air)cooler....LOL

But Danborn - also a member by now - turn to a 912 motorless version
Stuck his 2165 in it a soon there was a new idea in my head to ..
Whats better than a cool piece a Wolfburg cruiser??
One with a even more Cool piece of Stuttgart Steel next to it...
Still preferred a ratty not to Mint condition sample though

So turned to ebay - Samba - Mobile.de and aaaaaaalll the places i knew of.
To cut a looong story short !
Ended up with a cool 912 in ivory white from 67... was as close a Brighton in a barn next to Nick Moss's place .. nice.
Flew out to look at it... teamed up with a very good friend (by now) from the vDud scene , Pete, who brought his trailer along just in case it was a cool as i hoped it would be.

Negotiated a bit , settle storage fee's with the farmer , loaded it up and took it to Pete's place.

Short story on it ...
1967 Ivory White with red leatherette
Probably 6" Fuchs , hope they are 5.5"'s though *loL*
5 dial green dash

Been in UK from 99 and Stuart bought it in 01 -
Crashed the engine in 02 and total rebuild with NRP's sized it to 1720ccm
Has a very little amount of rust incl an olr rep job thats gone again .
Front part of tank stol/plate needs re welding.
Besides that it's mostly surface and patina of which im keeping the most of..

So thats me and my 67.
Will be asking lots of Q's but i do try to read pre-asked Q and replies and other Posts first though.!

Looking forward.

Best wishes to all...!

I hope you have met/heard of Paul Wilson who (along with others) after finding DDK last year was inspired to started a Danish porsche pre 73 club.

there will be an article about them(and DDK) in the next issuse of Total 911 magazine. :P
