where's my old Black 912E????? now adays

Have to say was a nice car and I wish i still had it..Although I did break down in it twice which NOW I laugh about..

Once when I stalled it and it wouldn't start ( hot start ) so both me and my mate had to push the car in rush hr traffic very uncool.. esp in a black Porsche!!

and once when I was zooming down the motor way I came off the slip road and it started to splutter and I realised the fuel had run out ( gauage not working ) and I managed to roll to with in 5 meters of the slip road end and had to call me Dad to come and drop me off 1gallon of fuel ( not very cool but I did look cool sat on the front bumper waiting for my Dad in the sun.. But the motorway camera's had turned to watch me.. I had to wave!!

You need to lose the rear plate and buy an Import plate it's smaller and you are Alowed with the law to have an import plate for your car..

Your old black E was a superb looking car... despite the US front-bumper reflectors and the front fogs! LOL!!

Justin offered it to me when he was selling, but I couldn't go to his asking price. Anyways, I really like the old skool look of mine... chrome trim and funky 70s colour!

Had no breakdowns yet (touch wood!). I have had to stop on the M-way a couple of times when the brakes were binding to let em cool off though. As you say, not a cool look when driving a Porsche!!

Rear plate and bumperettes will be changed for Euro spec soon.

Changed mine yesterday

Those US overiders are damned heavy, one fell into my lap as I was undoing it

Wish I'd got the plate holder to cover those holes.

Neil... the new plate looks well better mate. And I have to say, the car looks lovely in those photos! And yes, I was eyeing up the pressed plates... I want the proper retro ones though. I believe Framptons are good for these.

Could meet this weekend if you fancy it? Happy to come over your way.
