As title says...
Porsche 356A engine dated 1956/1957, turns freely with no play what so ever.
block never split with no leaks, has sat dormant for 10 - 15 years in a heated garage.
heads have been removed for inspection and look fine, valves open and close as they should, dual coil springs are all intact.
twin zenith carbs with manifolds and linkage mounted to rear of fan shroud all intact (no air filters)
6v dynamo all good. fuel pump etc all fine, in fact none of that has ever came off the case either inc dizzy!
no coil, missing one rocker cover clip and no heat exchangers... however exhaust is practially nos!!! A few spare bits included. Bought for a project that never materialised (normal sob story)
However it's time for the little screamer to seek pastures new and a car to power!!!
It has to be the oldest porsche engine I have seen for sale ever and at a BARGAIN sum of £1100 it's a sin not to buy!
Email queries to damien.oneill (@) btinernet (.com)
telephone queries to 07828296842 anytime within reason.
Engine case is clean enough to eat your dinner off... no grub or grot on any surface, all original... just needs a clean up and to be run... obscene really!!!
PS: newbie on here... well trusted person by many on volkszone under the same name. Cheers.
