Porsche 911 2.7 RS Race Car *SOLD*

Based on a 1971 2.2S. Running original 2.7rs engine.

This car is ready to race. Italian FIA papers. Qualifies for all historic events with full technical FIA passport.
Uprated Brakes, very light fast car. Raced in the Italian Porsche series for many years. The cost of conversion originally cost in excess of £20,000. The car has never had any major damage.

Shell

1971 2.2S LHD Chassis
Lightweight thin metal front and rear wings,
GRP bonnet and engine lid.
FIA Full roll cage
Front Strut Brace
last raced in April 2007

Interior

fire extinguisher
Brake bias adjuster
Sparco pro FIA reace seats
All orginal dials, 7200 rpm tacho

Suspension & Brakes

Bilstein shock absorbers and inserts.
Upgraded Antiroll bars front and rear.
3.0 RS spec vented brakes
15" x 7"& 8" Fuchs Alloys on slicks + 2 more sets..


Engine

Orignal 1973 2.7RS Engine
Fresh Build using later stronger crankcase with oil bypass mod.
All original 1973 2.7 RS engine components
Heads, cam cover, MFI system, all date stamped as original 73 2.7rs
Engine rebuilt from crank upwards with all new bearings. All new gaskets and seals.
0 Hours on newly built engine. Ready to race


Transmission

915 transmission with LSD

Wheels

3 Sets total of 15" x 7"& 8" Fuchs

The engine number would be good. Do you know if the case is mag or alu?
