Was asked by a guy in the street today if i wanted to sell my 912.
I dont know hi from adam just ambushed me :lol:

has since had overiders removed and bumper painted and a clean up paint wise

it got me thinking as i havent a clue if it was a vdub id know how to guage it according to condition etc.

Its a 65 cali import you should all know it as its been here on the forum for awhile

Now all motd englished registered new floors runs great.

any ideas would be appreciated
outlaw 912 up and running must be 6k+ ??

Well they are getting more expensive all the time... anything up to and beyond £14k for a tip top example.

The old adage 'it's worth what someone will pay' is always true, I find the man in the street always thinks my car is worth at least twice what it is, they never have the cash on them though :roll:

Obviously anything that isn't original limits your 'audience' somewhat, not everyone wants a rat outlaw, I wouldn't mind though.

thanks funnily enough its not all that rat the dark bits are jus dark primer and grey primer with a bit of hard work can all be polished off like the rest of the car.
I knowits not worth 14k but i would think its gota be worth 6-7k as its ultra solid and with a respray who knows.
Just considering my options

it depends really on the interior, has the negine be rebuilt things like that. Max at revival cars has a silver one that looks in fair condition for 5495. by the pics id say it must be somewhere in between the 6 and 7k mark.

just my opinion though

true, interior is original all reasonably good
engine cant fault it goes like stink and is perfect no leaks etc

very little i know about it to be honest thats why i thought id ask.
Doesnt need and welding is very good bodily apary from cosmetic look .
Least i know a ball park even for insurance it just said market value so its good to know .cant see me selling it as it raises too many eyebrows one way or the other which can be fun
