Hi everyone, im a newbie from NZ and have been restoring my UK new RHD 1969 911T for the past 6 months. Its been in NZ since 1994 but has never actually driven on our roads... legally. The old registration number (not sure what you guys call it) when it was in the UK was PSC 590G and it was originally Irish Green. If anyone recognises that number let me know, it would be great to get some UK history on it!
I would post a picture but im not sure how (unless what i did worked!) so if anyone can let me know how that would be cool!

Hi'a you boys love RHD cars.. I just come back from Perth Oz and every LDH car I saw was or had been chopped from L to right.. but yours is an orginal cool..
Good luck with it.. all I can say is if your doing the resto do it right.. make a rottersery and strip the car to a shell.. sink good money into the bodyw work as mecahnicals are able to be bolted and unbolted on and off. Body work is a different matter..
may see you some day as looking to move to Oz in a few years and New zeland is ont he list of places to visit..
Alex of Retro motor company is currently working in New Zeland right now.. check him out and send him a PM.. he is Buzz808 I think on here..

Thanks for the reply, yeah pretty stoked i found an orginal RHD. I think in Australia they are not actually allowed to drive LHD cars so thats why they all convert them... could be worng but im sure someone on here will know.
The body is currently completely stripped and on a rottersery getting new floors, sills, door shuts etc at a shop that has done quite a few 911s, factory spot welds in the right places etc. Its starting to look like a car again after 6 months!
Ill keep you posted on the progress.
Oh and thanks for the contact, ill send him a message and see what part of the country hes in.

LHD RHD it's not the issue it was .. I saw a number of LHD cars in Perth last month.
and I know of a number of cars for sale both Merc and Porsches and they are LHD.

Sorry for hijacking the tread, I wonder if there are any porsche related events happening in New Zealand during april next year? I am curious because I am going there with my girlfriend for three weeks.
With Best Regards from Rickard, a Porsche enthusiast from Sweden..
