Converting from US to UK lights .... any tips ?
Sorry if this has been covered before on the forum .....
Finally getting around to convertiing my imported 914 to meet uk lighting regs, only to find that the light clusters, especially the rears, are v. expensive !
I've done the easy/cheap part and bought 7" headlights and i'm looking for tips or cheaper fixes for F&R clusters.
Is there any way around it, or do I just have to shell out for the proper ones?
TIA
Steve

Thought about doing that but wasn't sure how legit it is, as the "indicators" end up a lot further inboard ..... need a friendly MOT man I suppose
What about the fronts ? ..... can you run with US yellow side-lights or do I need the 1/2 white lenses and to wire another bulb holder for the side-light ?
Ta,
Steve

Cheapest option is to borrow some from a friendly fellow 914 owner for MOT day and then revert to your own red lenses for the other 364 days .steve356 wrote: i'm looking for tips or cheaper fixes for F&R clusters.
