This car, priced to sell, looks to be an absolute bargain, if it's still for sale:

Been looking around all the usual suspects (Export 56, Autofarm, WW Classic, Edmund Harris, Gmund, Revival, Fuchs, Historika, 991Classic, Early 911, etc) but nothing about unless you want to pay 30k+ which I am not willing to do.
I am more in the market for a 20k usable solid car that i can improve in my own time rather than a minter. At the other end of the spectrum I am not really after a basket case either as I want to keep it running rather than get it running

Hi,
Does it have to be a 1972/73 car? The early RHD 2 and 2.2 ltr cars are also great cars and are also more likely to be within your budget.

I have seen a few, but nice cars are selling very quickly, some before they are fully advertised.
Does the car have to come with matching engine? I ask, I had a car in that was in fantastic condition, it was a RHD 66 but with a 2.2 motor, that was closer to your budget.
HTH

Wouldn't discount anything that was a solid, running, RHD coupe, but just if I was to spec my perfect car it would be that Tangerine one I missed out on
It needs to be RHD as the wife will not drive on the wrong side
and she insists on getting a shot (she already says my Caterham was nothing to do with her) and come to think of it if it is a pre 72 car it won't have a 915 box meaning it will be dog-leg which will probably get her moaning as well
Come to think of it any one want to swap a wife for a 2.7 RS
