What's the best enigne sealant

I am starting to look to put all the enigne bits back togeather and I was looking into engine sealants.. now the old blue gunk is ok but I remeber talk of a few good selants out there.

One was a product call Yammabond in the US a bike sealant..

( my mate Tony has a 912 out there he does alot of time trials and the car is driven hard.. I looked under it and it is leak free...

)

Another is Pete at Funkenblizt who uses a Mazda sealant £18 a tube it swears by it.. and his motors don't leak oil..

Any one have any idea's

I don't mind spending £20 a tube if it helps reduce oil leaks heck I would spend a £100

HI 912uk, you could try Curil-K2,(the original selant, brown), Curil-T, Hylomare, AMV 188 200 03 selantVW, 000 043 300 86 porsche, I am not a lover of SILICON selant as it will get into the oil ways, the porsche part is a silicon and used with caution will be ok , is the engine a 912 or 911 engine , if it's the 912 I would go for the Curil-K2 from BMW or autoparts (Elring No 534.501) or the VW which looks like 3bond/Yammbond thay use in the USA.

yeah 912 engine..

I popped into a Bike place today and he said he knew what I meant and showed me his stuff , Hondabond HT. He also said he knew why I want to use it as he has used this for years as it does do a great job. The Hermatight stuff. in the BIN..just he has no stock he just buys in what he needs when he rebuilds a bike.

I used a sealant from a company called Wurth - not cheap, came in a little pump action concertina type tube - seems to have done the job ok !
