blank keys

hi guys,

i'm after a couple of blank spare keys to get for my '67 912. I've had a look on ebay and could only find someone in the US selling them for $30! i know the exchange rate is good at the moment, but is that a reasonable price? have had a quick search on the forum, but didn't find much...

any help/advice always appreciated.

when I wanted a new blank for my 1973 car I got them direct from my local Porsche OPC for about a £10.

OPC worked out cheaper than ebay

excellent - i'll give that a go. I only have the one set, which seems like living dangerously....?

When I got my spare keys cut I when to a high street shop and he ordered up the key from the catalog and it only costs a few pound. My key has "Por 2" stamped on it and this is a standard that can be easily got.

I got my keys from a highstreet shop too. It just took a few days for them to order in the blanks.
