Masterclass

Hi
Appologies if this has been asked before, is there any mileage in getting together and organizing 'classes' on varous subjects, MFI, suspension setup, trimming etc (they do this kind of thing in the US).
If we could get say 10 members together for a specific subject, then approach an 'expert' in that field and pay for their time. We could provide a list of topics, find the expert

, and then put a calendar together which would cover north and south of the country.
Thoughts please.

If this was done well it would prob. work but like anything else requires someone with time and contacts to put it all together. I think the starting point should be finding that person willing to put the time and effort to organise it all. If this falls into place then a poll of topics would be worthwhile to draw up a calender. I for one would attend. Another problem is time(s) and place(s) to suit everyone (but then you will never suit everyone) so that it is cost effective.

I agree, we may have to split into 2 groups, north & south ??. We would have to produce a topic list and then associate 'experts' with them and cost. We would need a 'course synopsis' from the experts and then work a cost for it. As a starter for 10, some of the topics i would like to see.
MFI
Bodywork
Suspension setup
Trim

Anybody now the experts we could contact????

This will now include 'superstick' or 'son of stick' a highly modified version which now measures toe-in and camber as well as ride height.

I would attend as many master classes as I could. With Nick offering bodywork and Mike talking about steering / wheel alignment (also suspension?), who could offer a class on engines?

Mike,
I'd be interested in a Masterclass that covered development of the 911 air cooled engines, general characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, what makes them special and so on. Specifically, the options for tuning / power increase would be good to know.
