Tyres

Post by super_golfer »

Would I notice any difference in handling if I fitted 185/70s to the back and 185/65s to the front of my 912? I only ask because I have a pair of 185/70s and have been offered some 185/ 65s at a great price.

I wouldn't have thought the difference in profile would be significant - I don't drive too fast (well not in this old girl).

I would say no as I had different tyre sizes on my 912 when I had steels...

but to be honest the tyres for our cars are very cheap now like £35 a tyre for new metric size

It was £135 for a set of new tyres for my Alloys..

What 185/70 tyres have you already got ?

I have a pair of excellent 185/70x15 Fulda Y2000 tyres available if you're interested (actually I have 3).
