915 gear box

The gearbox from my 73 2.4 is at the moment in a million bits on the bench, but what to do :-
a/ re-build the existing box
b/ fit a s/h unit
WHERE DO YOU GET A S/H 915 BOX FROM
Can any body help

does the gearbox number match the car ( is it the original case? ) If it does then it might be worht rebuilding the box

Get in touch with mike bainbridge of MB engineering in kendal if you want your box rebuilding, great guy and really knows his stuff with these boxes.

Yep, my vote for Mike too. Rebuild it if at all possible Richard, best way to go. You could crate it up and parcel2go it to him.
