Finally found a 993RS

Post by 912phil »

Well me and the Old Man have tracked down a 993RS after quite a while of digging! We found it through Autofarm and H+S in germany and we are both really looking forward to gettng it over here.

Basically its a 1995 car in comfort spec with a factory fit clubsport wing pack, bolt in roll cage and airbag (I know not really light weight). It a two owner car thats never been crashed, tracked or modified and has 40000kms on the clock.

Hope you like...

We didnt buy it through Autofarm...they just introduced us to the owner! and then did the inspection for us. ( Which wasnt expensive suprisingly)

Fantastic!!

The first 911 I ever sat in and was a Black 993 RS with the full wing and cage. What a car!!!!

So what are the specs for the 993 RS then?

BHP? Weight? 0-60? 1/4 mile? 8)

Forget the figs Guys , its just the beautiful balance in all departments and it keeps going right up to the red line , just feels comfortable and well within its limits still, when right foot hard down

Very true....mind you the 964RS is beautifully balanced aswell. Will be really interesting to get them both on the track. The 964 should pip it though as its set-up for track work and the 993 is road biased.

Dont know what ur 964 s got in the engine area but i would nt be too sure on that ...............it ll just seem softer but hang on for ever , depending what tyres when it slides its very predictable .........used Dunlop SSR last on mine , MSC very sticky but when it went a bit severe for an old boy like me , preferred the ssr sensation and far better in streaming rain which the car excels on where theres a little compliance, ask MEL Spear , 964 rs luvver of all time , even if his is a Cup Car ............or try and read the first judgement day threads on PCGB Forum ...........................then u can see all their views
