Hello all.

This came in my 1969 E which is destined for hscc racing..but with its correct MFI engine of course.( thanks Alan)

This is a fine strong engine indeed, my pal Ken D. who has driven it, assures me it is as strong as the 2.2E in his old race car..

I suspect it has been warmed up with pistons and cams at some time..but do not know for sure..

I will sell it as a short engine, as a quick swop-over for anyone wanting a good runner while rebuilding their original engine...

It would also make a good choice for a 914-6 conversion..

I'd like £500 please..

Kind regards
David

Hi Andy.

Short block, with dizzy, shroud but no fan, pulley but no flywheel.

May be interested in selling some other bits to help someone with an interesting project!

Kind regards
David

Hello all.

I have replied to several who have pointed out this ad is misleading..mea culpa.

The engine is not an MFI engine: it has an unknown spec as far as cams pistons and even crank stroke goes..

It just happened to be fitted to my 1969 2L E whae I bought it.

I have removed the SSI heat exchngers today to put onto the correct , 2L E engien I have bought for it.
It will need a few of the exhaust studs replacing, as is usual..

Kind regards
david

Hello all.

This is still for sale..amazingly!

It is exactly as posted: a good running engine with good oil pressure, no noises, and more power than I'd expect from a stock 2.2L T.

It blows some blue smoke on startup..but goes like a train.

It needs one exhaust stud replced with a stepped 10mm/8mm stud, and another one removed and replaced.

I am keen to swop it for something I can use..especailly 2.0l parts or engine..

Kind regards
David
