gauge issue

Post by porker914 »

Does anyone know what the lefthand dial at the top indicates?

Mine has started intermitantly coming on and buzzing at the same time. First time it did it I did not even know it was a light of any sort. I think it is brake related looking at some of the other sites but what the hell is it indicating?

Hi Dave,

depends on which gauge type you have got, but if it looks like a red semicircular indicator, along the top of the gauge, then that is the combined handbrake warning light (should come on with the handbrake on)/ brake circuit failure warning light.

I didn't realise it made a noise though.... unless I have got it horribly wrong of course.

regards

David, look under the handbrake there is a microswitch that may need adjusting/fiddling with.
