Early or Late Minerva Blue

I'm sending a rear lid for painting. My car is '78 SC in Minerva Blue and correct paint code for the year seems to be L304, however when you look at various websites the representation of the pre 1980s and post 80s Minerva Blue is different, the earlier one seems to be much darker. As there is no chance to get my car to the paintshop at the moment it is important that I get the paint code right the first time. The car had a full bodywork restoration somewhere in 90s so it is possible it has been sprayed in later colour.

So am I right assuming the early and late Minerva Blue are different and if so which one is my car? Thanks in advance.

My car is a 77 Carrera 3.0 in minerva blue. The touchup the previous owner gave me when I bought the car has the following ' Lackstift minervableu met POR304'. Pics on past events on DDK and 911 & PW Oct issue if this helps. When I get chance I'll check the car for the colour code.

or in an earlyer colour it looks very much like 1973 met blue 334.

Oh dear, this complicates matters even further. Is there any sure way to find out?

Looks bang on for 304 to me, buy a touch-up stick from your OPC and you'll soon find out.
