My advice would be to look out for a good used, non-leaking, old Bosch Black coil Vic, it will last a lot longer, this is not just a UK only problem either, i've read of quite a few cases in the states of the brazilian ones failing.
I've had one go bad on me as well, no warning either, I have got one as a 'get me out the sh*t' spare, but the only thing wrong with using that is...how long before it put me right back in the sh*t
another option is a MSD high vibration coil, MSD PN 8222, they are compatible wth our Bosch cdi ignition systems
