Who did the work?
Cheers

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between a 901 and a 911 box?.

Hello Matt.
The most important differnece is the clutch arrangement.
The 911 had the pull type clutch..the 901 and 914 the old push style.
The gear ratios in the 911 are much wider spaced and higher geared, and maybe less desirable for a hottish engine..
The 911 also usually had the exploding differential!
Kind regards
david
